I realize that I am quite biased, but I love this piece, and I know my mother would, too. She adored you. ♥️

Beautiful tribute to Mrs. Beers, and a sentimental walk down Bunker Hill. Although I didn’t live in the neighborhood, I spent a good deal of my school years there. The good memories far outweigh the bad. And Mrs. Beers is definitely one of those great ones.

Hi Wayne! What a lovely tribute and recollection! It took me back. But I’m confused by her name. I didn’t know the Beers family that I can recall but I do think I remember a Voss family on Brookhill Lane? Any insights?

Hi Laura, The Beers lived near us on Bunkerhill and the Voss’ lived on your side, on Brookhill I think, across from the Duckworths and Simonsons. Mr. Voss was a pilot. That help?

Yes! That’s what I recall about the Vosses. I was confused by Mrs. Beers’ middle name!

So beautiful and loving and just the way I remember Mrs. Beers (and Mr. Beers and the sweetheart-of life Bocca.)
